Ryan Pfluger completed his MFA at the School of Visual Arts in 2007 and is a New York native. Ryan feels that there is a strong, vulnerable connection between the individual, their sense of self, their surroundings, and their bodies. He is constantly evaluating the contemporary role of photography.
Ryan currently lives in Brooklyn and is finishing his current body of work Edited, a project in which he is photographing contemporary decision makers in photography from curators to photo editors.
